Chris Canipe
Owner/President
Chris Canipe is a resident of Florida and has led Model City Roofing for the last ten years in its locations throughout Florida and Tennessee. Chris is a native of Kingsport, TN, and graduated from the University of Tennessee. Before founding Model City Roofing, he worked with several Fortune 100 companies.
He fulfilled his dream of owning and operating his own business in 2016, acquiring a roofing company in Jacksonville, FL. Under his leadership, the business flourished with thousands of satisfied customers and expanded to the Tri-Cities of Tennessee and most of Florida.
Among the honors and distinctions Model City Roofing has received, it was awarded the highest designation as Platinum Preferred Partner with Owens Corning. The company is actively involved in the community, doing regular free roofing installations for needy residents, the military, and various charities our customers select.
Although Model City Roofing has grown rapidly, Chris is committed to providing the same high-level professionalism, friendly service, and value for our customers. You might see him driving up to your job site in the company vehicle, “Big Red,” checking to ensure the best quality.
On weekends you can catch him playing a round of golf at his local golf club! He is always open to speak to any of our customers with any questions, concerns, or needs.
